Studio Rooms

Our recently refurbished studio rooms offer travellers an array of budget-friendly accommodations with all of the standard amenities and traditional Caribbean décor. Rooms range from 295 – 325 sq ft – nearly all options can accommodate up to four guests comfortably with choice of 1 king bed or two double beds. Please note rates change based on occupancy (children 6 and under stay free). These rooms are located between two, three story buildings (no elevators) with choices of views that overlook the island and lush gardens on our exterior grounds or the resort’s tranquil courtyard completed with a pool. In late 2020, rooms were freshly painted, all flooring was retiled, and new doors were installed on both the front entrances and bathrooms. In 2023, new furniture was installed in all Poolside accommodations.

These entry-level studio rooms feature a king size bed and are ideal for the budget conscious traveler. In comparison to our other studio rooms, they are slightly smaller in size, are limited to a maximum occupancy of two guests and are equipped with older furnishings as well as smaller TV's. Located in our East Wing, you can enjoy morning sun from the window overlooking our tropical grounds with partial island views.

The Standard Plus Rooms feature a larger space than the 'Standard Room' and include a sofa bed allowing families of 3 - 4 or friends traveling together the opportunity to share one room. As well, the room includes a frosted-glass partition between the bed and living room area enabling added privacy. Located in our West Wing, you can avoid morning sunlight peeking into the room and enjoy views overlooking our exterior grounds (higher floors give allow you to see the town of Grace Bay).

This is the perfect choice for guests who want to spend as much time in the Caribbean air as they can. Nestled in both wings at the front and rear of the property, you will enjoy complete privacy from the top floor while looking over Grace Bay. The balcony is equipped with a light, table and two chairs. There are only 8 of these rooms available (3 kings and 5 doubles) so if this feels like the right fit for you, be sure to reserve yours in advance. This room is only available when booking direct.

This room specifically is in proximity to the pool allowing you to walk into the pool in as little as ten steps. This is the perfect choice for guests who love ease of access to everything while still being able to enjoy privacy. Also, families with younger children appreciate the convenience of being able to directly go to and from the pool. Rooms are located in both buildings and the terrace is equipped with a light, table as well as 2 chairs. Connecting rooms are an option (one king connects to two doubles).

Yes – our bellman will happily bring your luggage to and from your room on both arrival and departure

What’s the difference between the Standard Room and Garden View Room?

While both overlook the exterior grounds of our property, the main differences include:
• Size (295 ft² vs 325 ft²)
• Maximum number of guests allowed in the room (2 vs. 4)
• Glass room divider (included in the Garden View Room only)
• Standard Rooms receive morning sun
• Garden View rooms tend to be more quiet and will stay darker in the morning as they face the West

Which room type is considered the most quiet?

All rooms have been designed to minimize excess noise from outside, therefore, no room in particular is considered to be more quiet. If you ever felt disturbed by noise throughout your stay, please do not hesitate to contact our onsite management.

Can 5 guests stay in a room?

After many years of testing different occupancy levels for each room, we have determined a firm policy against allowing more than four guests to any of our studio rooms in the best interests of your comfort. For families or groups of five people or more, please speak with our reservations department to determine your best fit. We can provide a quote for connecting room options, non-connecting rooms that can be kept close together and the three-bedroom villas. Ports of Call Resort is one of the few resorts on the island that allow more than two guests in a studio style room.

Do you offer connecting rooms?

We do! There are two options:
• Deluxe Pool View Balcony with 1 King Bed + Pool View with 2 Double Beds
• Deluxe Pool View Walkout Terrace with 1 King Bed + Deluxe Pool View Walkout Terrace with 2 Double Beds
