We want to take the stress out of planning a vacation during this time and introduce our new Hurricane Refund Guarantee Policy. The way the Turks & Caicos Islands are situated makes it less likely to be affected by hurricanes. Irma was only the 2nd Hurricane to hit Turks and Caicos in 10 years and CNBC reports as well as that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration anticipate a near-normal hurricane season in the North Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea and Gulf of Mexico.
If a hurricane watch is issued by the National Hurricane Center for the Turks & Caicos Islands, guests with a confirmed direct booking reservation have the option to cancel or reschedule to a later date at no penalty*.
We will honor free cancellation for reservations affected up to 48-hours before check-in. In the event that you cancel less than 48-hours prior to check-in, a 1-night penalty will be applied. We will gladly honor 50% of that penalty to be used as a resort credit within 365-days of the cancellation date. Please mention this when you are looking to re-book. Credit is only valid when re-booking directly with the property.
If you wish to postpone your vacation and travel at a later date, Ports of Call Resort will guarantee your original rate for the upcoming summer season (May 1 – December 21). Guests wishing to choose this option must provide tentative travel dates at this time. Reservations can later be modified up to one (1) time within 7 days of arrival during low season (May 1 – December 21) or 14 days during high season (December 22 – April 30). Rate protection will only apply to the number of original nights and number of guests booked. Additional nights or guests may be booked at the current rate. Space is subject to availability and blackout periods apply*.
Continue with Travel Plans
Should you choose to continue with original travel plans, Ports of Call Resort will not be responsible and all normal cancellation penalties apply.
Normal no-show policy applies.
In the event that the hotel is not able to continue its operations due to damage incurred by a hurricane, Ports of Call Resort will allow all direct booked guests affected the option of free cancellation, or, the opportunity to reschedule trip at the same rate year-round within one year from the reopening date of the hotel. No blackout dates apply.
Subject to availability. Valid only for reservations made prior to hurricane watch/warning for Turks & Caicos Islands by the National Hurricane Center.
